Google says Text-to-Speech no longer needs high quality voices in latest update






Google has recently updated its Text-to-Speech app on the Play Store to take away features. With the update, you can no longer download the high quality voices on the Text-to-Speech app, and this isn't exactly a bad thing. According to Google, the standard voice engine "now surpass[es] the quality of the high quality voices from our previous release."
